Pathfire and Collegiate Images Create Partnership to Deliver College Sports Content to Broadcast News Stations

ATLANTA, GA - April 17, 2007 -- Pathfire, a leading provider of digital content distribution and management solutions for broadcast, media & entertainment industries, with over 1400 local television station distribution partnerships, and Collegiate Images, the centralized licensing and rights clearance agency managing the distribution of copyrighted intellectual property content for college sports, announce an agreement to provide college sports content to broadcast news stations for special collegiate events via Pathfire's Digital Media Gateway and Pathfire on Demand technology.

The offering will make sports footage of college players and teams available for television station news coverage. Footage will be provided on a subscription basis and will be focused initially on college sports' "Main Events."

Erik Weston, Pathfire's Product Manager explains, "Let's use the upcoming Draft as an example. A sports reporter at a local station can now browse through college game footage of ALL the top players in this year's Draft. Then, through the Pathfire Digital Media Gateway, the reporter can access player footage for coverage of professional teams in the station's footprint or for coverage of a local star getting his chance at center-stage."

"We are excited about this new opportunity with Collegiate Images," states Gary Washauer, Pathfire's SVP of Sales and Business Development, "the combination of Pathfire's distribution and Collegiate Images' compelling content will provide sports reporters and producers with unmatched access to footage of athletes and events with local and national interest."

Rich Routman, Collegiate Images' Vice President of Business Development added, "We welcome Pathfire as a content distribution partner. Pathfire's ability to expedite delivery of Collegiate Images' content to television station sports reporters will provide for enhanced editorial coverage of college sports nationwide."
