Pathfire and The Associated Press Team to Deliver Hurricane-Related Coverage to Gulf Coast Television Stations


ATLANTA, GA, October 31, 2005 - Pathfire, Inc., the leading provider of digital content distribution and management solutions for the broadcast and media industries, announced today an agreement with The Associated Press (AP) to deliver hurricane related coverage to stations in the Gulf Coast region. AP will utilize Pathfire's Digital Media Gateway™ (DMG) to digitally deliver their coverage of the continuing Hurricane recovery efforts.

Pathfire's DMG is a proven, reliable and widely accepted content distribution platform which provides users with the ability to search, preview and play-out content directly from their desktop.

By delivering through Pathfire's DMG, AP's video news coverage will arrive directly on desktops at newsrooms throughout the Gulf Coast, eliminating the need to schedule and monitor satellite feeds.
